back from a horribly EXPENSIVE & BORING & TIRING CAMP!!!!!!!BAND SUCKS LUH,even the most fun thing that happens,which is normally the camp,is so boring.Combine everyday,cancelled our games(DAMN)1st day,walked to school with an extremely heavy bag,and sleeping bag as well as my own bag.Then it was a freaking hot and sunny day,and i was kindof dragging my bag to school,and by the time i reached school,i was sweating,but not much,don't know why.When i reached band room,the sec 1s were having theory,so not time to fall in yet,cuz it was only 1 plus,and fall in was at 2.30,or somewhere there.Then i just sat inside band room,before going to canteen with sisui for his lunch( cuz i had my lunch at home)Then chatted with sandy ,xueying,kiat hui& obviously sisui,before yanyi and alvin came over,cuz alvin wanted to comment on some stuffs:DDDD Then,finally fall in,but was at the field,so lots of bugs were around and yanyi was funny,cuz while 'in squad',some spider or something keep going onto her leg,then she went "stomp,stomp,stomp" non stop,till the insect was gone,just like how alvin did the"smack smack smack " thing to that wasp that day,so both of them are very compatible,one goes stomp,one goes smack:DDDThen after that,prepared for a super boring combine.From 3 to 6?Can't remember what we played,but the only thing i'm confirmed is that it was boring and horrendous:PThen after combine was supposed to be drilling,but mr wong dragged on for combine,which was expected,so we didnt drill,and directly went to bathe and had dinner,brass eat 1st,and bathe after woodwinds are done. Then dinner was some beehoon thing,and guess how much it cost,$5!!!!!Like that's damn ex.We didnt have to pay there cuz we already paid $10 for 2 meals,and hq still told me pay 10 for 2 dinners and 1 breakfast,but in the end we still had to buy stuff to make breakfast for sec 4s,so we had to pay more than $10,which totally sucked.Then ,went for combine,again,from 7 to 11 plus 12.That sucked luh,cuz in the afternoon already cancelled our games for the damn combine,then at night combine again,worse thing,mr wong wasnt even around in the night.So practiced singing,and latin faves,venus,starship & the way we were(sucks the most)But good thing was no one caught me for wearing slippers,though there were few others who wore,but most didnt dare to wear for fear of getting caught.Then after that,went to bed,haha.Not really luh,but went to brush up and prepare for bed(though there wasnt any bed around)Then played cards,then i planned a mini night walk which was just walking round the school,and we took a very very long time to get even no. cuz we were superstitous(i spelled wrongly)and thought that odd no. wasnt gonna be good,so went in pairs,haha.Then nothing much,cuz everyone was very scared of walking behind the buildings,so just walked on the road,which was quite boring as there were lights and therefore no where was too dark,except maybe the lake.And then,we finally reached the old block(we walked from canteen,then walk past dnt block,cut across parade square,then walked by the lake,and cut across the grass patch to the old block,and wanted to walk up the old block,but faith didnt want to.And yes,i asked faith to stand beside me,cuz somehow i ended up being alone and i was at the front,so i asked her stand next to me.HAHA,but got teased by xinyu and germaine for next two days-.-"" Then we actually wanted to walk another round,but somehow we didnt,so went back to class,where we played more cards,before yongkhai said henry said that the comm were gonna come for spot check,so lights went out,and we pretended to sleep.But i couldn't sleep,and kiat hui too,so we were walking outside the classes(old block 2nd level)Then while we were walking,we saw a cockroach and kiat hui wnated to squash it,but the roach flew suddenly and i decided the class was safest,so went back,and finally the comm came.But they took very long before coming to the class,and thank god i was fast enough to get back onto the table silently(which was quite difficult)Then comm came to spot check twice then finally i went to sleep. When i woke up,i also woke travis up,by smudging toothpaste all over his face,and he frightened me real bad by saying that he cant open his eyes and stuff and made it worse by asking"will i go blind?"-.-But then i washed it off his eyes and gave him my daily eyedrop(luckily i brought it),and then he was fine.Then went to band room for some stupid band,japanese band videos i mean.But i was playing cards with sisui,yong khai,germaine & edgar.But not all playing at once luh.Then rachel asked us to keep so no choice,but the video was boring,so i decided to sleep.HAHA...then had breakfast,which was worse,cuz had to pay with our own money.And as i was saving money,i decided to skip breakfast,then after breakfast was......i think combine or something?i cant really remember.But combined sucks cuz sec 4s had sap,so had to play without them,and it sucked even more cuz there was gelato & dona .Then after that,i think was lunch or something,which i skipped and emo-ed by the lake for a short while,in the very nice and warm sun.Then,next was sectionals(?)which sucked even more cuz it was totally boring,and we were sitting at the bench near 1st storey guys toilet(innosphere),i mean on the floor.Then i did nothing except spray water with my bottle,then started raining,so had to get away from the rain by going to the 2nd storey,where it was stuffy and boring.But after awhile,it was rather ok cuz the wind 'came',then practiced gelato.Then after sectionals,went for elections,which was more boring and surprising,cuz somehow i ended up in the nomination list for logistics and ric(recruits-in-charge).But obvious no one will vote me,and someone made a very good point:the election is just a facade to an unfair system,cuz everything is already decided beforehand, and the votes dont count,but it's held cuz it's a tradition. Then after that,did drilling and jeremy sabo-ed me & yong khai by asking us to take squad,which sucked cuz i dont know how to drill people.Then after some water break,went back into squad,before rachel asked temp. comm to take squad,which means im included,so took squad again,but the squad was splitted(just now too).Then after awhile,combined squad then was time for bath,but it was only 5.55pm then,but it was so early cus of night walk:DThen after bathing,had dinner,which sucked cuz it was chicken rice from the jap stall,and we had to pay $5 for something that costs $2!!!!!So fucked up luh!NEVERMIND!!! After dinner,which was not bad,but expensive.Then went to lt1,where we watched some jap horror film,which was very very boring,then after like damn damn long(movie ended,but watched "The others")But it was our group's turn-group 4 :which consisted of only sec 1s and 2 and i was the most senior-.-Then jixin was our facilitator,and i asked her a stupid question,because before the movie,huiqi was talking about this girl/woman whom passed away because of her parents or something,and said how scary she was, so i asked jixin"are we gonna die?"She gave me the-.- look and said no.....Then we took some clues,went to grand audi and went to boys toilet to look for some stuff...ok lets not elaborate,cuz im very tired already..haha...Lets go on...then finished and went to lt2 to wait,and waited a long time cuz there were many groups left....we took 1 hour plus to finish the journey...then was chatting/playing with edgar,and finally after 2 hours or so,the last group came back and then we were finally allowed to go back to our bunks...then brushed up,should be washed up...lol....then slept,cuz was rather tired...then today,made breakfast for sec 4s,which we had to buy the stuff ourselves,and no breakfast provided,so it means we paid alot for just 2 meals....and the 3rd meal wasnt even enough(cuz i didnt eat).Then went for combine from 8 till 1-.-Then it sucked,cuz played dona,the way we were,starship,gelato,spanish fever & finally, eurobeat. Then after combine,trumpet section had to clean band room,then plan seating arrangement for concert and arrange files until 4 plus,where in between i went to pp to get my hair dye,cuz of parents and cuz ms low maid a comment about my hair:"ALAN,your hair looks very,bright."So nothing much,then went home,bathed,dyed my hair back,then slept till 10?but i slept at 7 ,so it's ok.Then had dinner and watched les choristes,which my parents bought from hk,haha.Then bad thing was it's in french,worse thing was there were no subtitles.ok then,off to bed,post again soon:D Labels: band camp SUCKS BIG BIG TIME
